Sazzfest 2012

A friend of ours, Sarah, has a mini-festival in her garden each year. She has bands, DJs, a bouncy castle, nail painting, henna tattoos and camping. This is the second year that it has run and the second year that we have gone. It was a lovely day, fortunately and Sarah had asked me to bring along some jewellery to sell. I haven't sold at any festivals before so I didn't really know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. I set up on a blanket and wrote my prices on a paper plate (not totally organised!) I sold a few licorice allsort bracelets and the silver hummingbird pendant went to a good home which was great. We enjoyed a barbeque for dinner, loved the live music (including a singer accompanied by a cellist - loved their rendition of Raspberry Beret) and the fire breathing. Many people went home but there were a few campers left to enjoy sitting around the fire with marshmallows watching out for falling stars. I got a go on the bouncy castle which I always enjo...

Who uses moo? I do!

Using mini moo cards as labels I have long been a fan of moo.com and their range of products. I have luxe business cards, stickers and now mini moo cards! Mini moos are half the size of normal business cards. They are great little cards and I have decided to use them as labels for my licorice allsort range of jewellery. I currently only sell that range on Etsy but I've decided to pop into a few local shops to see if they will stock them on sale or return. So I got the labels printed because a) I think they look professional b) It means that anyone who buys my jewellery (or sees my jewellery in a shop) will see my web address, twitter name and email address c) I think they need a label to tell people not to try to eat the beads! My moo stickers and luxe cards I bought the luxe cards after I started getting celebrity commissions . They are a really lovely quality and give the right impression for my silver jewellery . The stickers are great for adding to packagi...

Introducing some brand new designs

I've been making and have finally got round to listing some new products I've had for a few weeks. All bracelets! Sweet shop range Firstly, some additions to my sweet shop! My original  licorice allsort bracelet has been my best seller and sold to the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands and the US. I decided to do a new version for those that have a favourite colour. You can choose between brown, pink or orange. I've had these flumps beads for a while and have finally made them into a fabulously kitsch pastel bracelet . Perfect for your summer wardrobe. It goes really well with those blush tones that are really big at the moment. Charm bracelets I have also added more charm bracelets after I had some success with them in the past. She sells sea shells charm bracelet Pink crystal flower charm bracelet Butterflies flutter by charm bracelet I hope there's something here you like!

Licorice allsort bracelet on T4!

Original webpage here My friend, Christel (see her blog here ) drew my attention to the fact that a presenter on T4, Jameela Jamil , was wearing a licorice allsort bracelet on the show on Saturday (2/4/11). After a quick search I found this image and she is indeed! I don't think it's one of mine but nice to see a sweetie bracelet on such a fashionista! Mine is available here
