Five fantastic Black Friday deals for metal clay artists

Black Friday has arrived and along with it an astounding amount of offers in my inbox and on facebook. For an American tradition it really has found some traction here in the UK! If you'd like to take a class with me there you can see my teaching calendar for 2018 here (it is possible that there will be some changes but right now I am the one due to teach the classes listed above). For me, learning face to face with an expert tutor is the quickest way to develop your skills. It allows you to ask questions and practice with feedb...

Lights, camera, action!

I've been very busy over the last couple of weeks with an increase in jewellery sales plus a very exciting project for Jewellery School online . I have been filming a tutorial that will be available to purchase and view online! The tutorial is for three metal clay stone setting projects, all of which can be torch fired. They include setting a fireable stone, setting dichroic glass and setting a bezel cup. The filming was done by a film crew and I had three cameras on me! Here is a photo of my view of the crew in action. The footage is being edited at the moment and will be available to purchase alongside other new tutorials for the website and I'll blog about it when they are finished and ready to buy. I'm filming another one next week so busy busy busy!
