St Albans cathedral

My boyfriend and I got to enjoy one of our favourite pastimes this week - a visit to St Albans cathdral . We love the architecture of these amazing buildings. Gary is a photographer so I get to just wander around and take it all in while he takes all the photos! I love the carving and the stained glass windows in cathedral buildings and this was no exception. You can see the photos that Gary took in his flickr album .

Made it to 1001 pinterest followers!

Hi. My name's Anna and I am a pinterestaholic! I love pinterest and this week reached 1001 followers! If you haven't heard of it/used it before it's free to sign up. You create online boards of similar images that you find on a website/blog etc or you can upload images yourself. I've found it incredibly useful for collecting together images for inspiration for my jewellery , clothing , favourite quotes - loads of things! I even have a secret board (that is not shared with the world) that I add present ideas onto when I stumble across the perfect gift for someone. Have a look. But it is addictive so don't say I didn't warn you! Follow Anna Campbell's board Jewellery inspiration on Pinterest.

Fashion jewellery at the London Jewellery School

I really enjoy teaching the Fashion Jewellery day class at the London Jewellery School . During the class we talk about where to get inspiration, create mood boards and then the students let loose with beads, chain, fabric, ribbon, cords, feathers, buttons - whatever they feel like! They tend to make two pieces, usually a neck piece and earrings. It's often a process of trial and error, seeing what works and what doesn't but then that is what jewellery designing is about! And I'm there to give advice individually to the students about how to make their design a reality.  Here are some images of work in progress from the class that I ran this week. And have a look at our pinterest fashion jewellery board for inspiration.
